Commercial Agent Showcase

For LA, New York and Atlanta Actors:

This is your chance to have them see your work and potentially sign you as a client!

(* showcase lineup subject to change. Inquire within.)

• 1st you will perform a ‘tell me a little bit about yourself’ interview (no more than 1 minute).

• 2nd perform a pre-prepared commercial copy read of your choice (30 second-ish read time copy length)

Email your self-tape submission via wetransfer.com to mike@heyisawyourcommercial.com Include your name, email and contact number. Your audition will be viewed individually by each Agent.
* I WILL NOT be reviewing self-tapes before you submit so please don’t ask. Treat it like a normal audition!

• Shoot landscape, waist up and crop out excess head room.

• Shoot on a plain backdrop (no trees, beds, doors, paintings, etc.)

• Have it memorized (no copy in hand)

• Good lighting and picture (no yellow, no blurry picture)

• Do not use props (coke bottles, toothpaste tubes etc..)

• DO NOT SHOOT OUTDOORS!

• SEND ONLY ONE FILE! DO NOT SEND 2 SEPARATE FILES WE HAVE TO EDIT TOGETHER. WE WILL NOT SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO!

• DRESS: Nice Casual (Khaki pants or Dress Slacks w/bright colored shirt w/buttons or polo shirt). OR YOUR OWN PERSONAL STYLE.

• THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT!
  YOU MUST CREATE A SLATE CARD (A BLACK SCREEN OR PAGE) WITH YOUR NAME ON IT AND EMAIL ADDRESS SO WE WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE! SOME ACTORS USE 2 AND 3 DIFFERENT NAMES AND DON’T SLATE BEFORE THEIR PERFORMANCE AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE! NOT FOLLOWING THIS SIMPLE INSTRUCTION MAY CAUSE YOUR PERFORMANCE TO NOT BE SUBMITTED
